Chimamanda Adichie: The danger of a single story | Video on TED.com

Wish I had found this a week or two ago -- a great example of what we've been working with.
Anyone want to respond to this in a blog? Or if you're having trouble coming up with something to write, consider your own experience: Can you think of a situation where received knowledge (from books, movies, how you were taught, whatever) has been contradicted by your experience? Or been supported?

Common errors

A friend of mine just posted this on Facebook, and while I think the title of the page is kind of unnecessarily-not-so-nice, these sorts of lists that gather common errors can be useful.  Here's the link:
